Welcome to Plumpton and East Chiltington cricket club website
Plumpton and East Chiltington is a sociable, family orientated club who play a good standard of league and friendly cricket. Excellent facilities are supported by outstanding surroundings and a true village atmosphere. Rumoured to have 'the best teas in the Mid Sussex area' the club prides itself on providing a warm welcome to visiting sides.
The club runs two Saturday teams which play in the East Sussex League. The 2011 season sees the first team competing in Division 1 and the second team in Division 7, both teams having gained promotion for the third successive season. The club also enters the National Village Knockout competition, has a Sunday friendly XI and a Midweek XI.
The club also runs a junior section and hold weekly training during the summer term for both boys and girls from school year 3 upwards. Further details of this can be found in 'Club News' below and also on the Community tab -'Postings'.
